New Tour Destination, Hove

Well… finally got a net connection sorted out (going wireless tomorrow hopefully) in my new ‘home’ on the south coast of England!! Officially I did actually move on the 2nd of April (having returned from Poland on the 1st) and since then I’ve been sorting rooms, gas / electric / TV licence / water / parking permit bills…

The place itself is good… and Hove is wonderful. I’ve got a Tesco Express one minute away, a bus stop 2 minutes away, a train station 3 minutes away a cricket ground, shopping area & work 10 minutes away and the English Channel 15 minutes away… all walking times BTW.

And the weather… when it’s good here, it’s amazing… and there seems to be plenty of good weather when compared to the homeland.

And with Gatwick Airport only 30 minutes away by train the door is always open…

About Mcfaggen

Having grown up in Co. Fermanagh where most of my family still reside, I thought it would be worthwhile to keep a blog of my travels around the rest of the UK, Europe and the World.

  1. Hey Barry! Long time no talk! I was supposed to be giving you an eBay/PayPal lesson back at Easter! Glad to hear you like your new home – are you on your own or sharing? Hopefully hear from you soon – and don\’t forget some nice pictures of your new home!
