Birmingham…

Back where the Tour all began today… and it was great!!  I really enjoy the atmosphere in the Colmore Row offices and it was good to catch up with some old friends & the old boss!!

On the down side was the travel… eight hours of it today… although I did spend a good couple of that asleep!! Early starts (combined with non-air-conditioned carriages) are not a forte!!  Still, it was nice to see the old stomping ground again.

Aside from that I have a question… I phoned up the Ariel line to order a powder dispenser (vital IMHO) but the line was closed… now fair enough, at 2100 no staff is acceptable… however I didn’t have an issue that someone could solve there & then… I wanted to order a dispenser… surely a voicemail where I could have left my address would have done the job?? Poor customer service by an old employer!!  I now have to call twice!!

Any thoughts on that??!!

About Mcfaggen

Having grown up in Co. Fermanagh where most of my family still reside, I thought it would be worthwhile to keep a blog of my travels around the rest of the UK, Europe and the World.
