Perfect weather for Cricket

It was 32 degrees today in Perth, Western Australia where it was day one of the third test between Australia and England. I didn’t have a ticket but it was on free to air TV. Needless to say, I didn’t actually see any sun today. If you want to read about the match, there’s no point reading this blog. You need to check out www.bbc.co.uk/sport.

That is all.

P.S. I’m typing this up in the hostel in Perth, opposite a southerner who is on the phone home. She sounds like the geezer off Father Ted who wears the ‘I shot J.R.’ tee-shirt. I’d always kinda thought they made that accent up as an exaggeration of a West Kerry tone. Ha.

About Mcfaggen

Having grown up in Co. Fermanagh where most of my family still reside, I thought it would be worthwhile to keep a blog of my travels around the rest of the UK, Europe and the World.
