This weekend passed I travelled over to Northern Ireland for a few days to catch up with Dina and to continue our Wedding Preparations. It was probably one of the smoothest return journeys I’ve completed this year to the Province with Buses, Trains and Planes all running to schedule (well nearly – the Translink service to Aldergrove Airport was running 15 minutes late, but mustn’t grumble…).
With a late arrival on the Thursday and work on the Friday we didn’t really achieve much except get Dina’s TiVo box sorted out on the Friday and watch some Grand Designs on Demand. On the Saturday I headed off to Portadown on the train to watch Portadown lose to Cliftonville in the IFA Premier League before returning to Belfast. We also went through our videographer lists again & came across Blank Canvas Productions, from Coleraine. We even sat down their lead man, Matthew, and had a chat with him about what they can do for us… and you know what, we liked what we heard, so we’ve agreed to use them and paid our deposit up today.
It’s pretty cool to now have a date, venue and videographer sorted out… it feels like progress is being made – slowly but deliberately. We know what we want & at the moment, we’re getting it!! The next few big things to sort are photographer, baker and florist, which we’ll hopefully make progress on over the next few weeks.
